Karen Kelloway wrote a great book on making a career change. Here she highlights how a re-evaluation of your situation and career goals can help you through a potentially challenging process: Name it, reframe it, get into alignment, create a career change strategy and then fill the gaps. These steps are very similar to what leaders should do in large-scale organizational change initiatives.
My favorite RBKanter lesson from this post is how “resilience is the new skill”. I believe that all successful leaders need to increase their RQs (Resilience Quotient) so that they can drive change without losing their centre (and their mind!).
